Project Completion – Rear Door Loading CCEP East Kilbride

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the Rear Door Loading project in East Kilbride, where we delivered a full electrical upgrade to improve daily site operation.

The works involved decommissioning the existing services and rebuilding the infrastructure starting by modifying the existing containment to accommodate a new fire door being installed, before installing new containment and cabling for power, lighting, and fire alarms we installed a new 400a Schneider panel board and small power board with the right protection and metering equipment, along with upgraded power supplies to support the new dock leveller and associated equipment.

We designed and implemented a full LED lighting solution to get the lux level up to and beyond CCEP specification, including the new BSB developed low level lighting test point and DALI BMS self-reporting system, which saves the client copious amounts in maintenance costs yearly. The fire alarm system was also extended to cover the new loading area with additional detection and safety features.

The team fully tested all systems and ensured they were commissioned and certified to NICEIC standards, so compliance and quality is guaranteed throughout.

We would like to thank our team involved in delivering this project safely and efficiently, and commend our Lead Electrician and QS, Adrian Lewis, for delivering this project to the highest of standards. With extended periods working away from home to ensure the project was delivered on time and on budget, he is a real credit to our team.
